The ODAA is self-governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by our members, and who receive no payment for their work.
The Board of Directors ensures that our Association acts with integrity, complies with the law, and is free from conflict of interest. The Board of Directors hires, supports, and evaluates the work of the executive director. They set policies and ensure financial viability. Directors must also ensure that Association resources are being spent on activities that promote the Association and its mission.
Our Board determines the mission, purpose, and strategic plan of the Association. Directors are focused on the future while ensuring that the executive director is taking care of the day-to-day operations.
