The ODAA recommends that employers offer an annual wage increase that, at minimum, matches the cost-of-living increase. Wage increases that recognize increased skills, duties, or seniority should exceed the cost-of-living increase. The salary guide represents the average hourly wage, not the maximum or minimum wage Ontario Dental Assistants Association recommends for its certified members.
The 2024 Guide incorporates a 3.9% increase to reflect the Consumer Price Index for Canada (CPI) increase since January 2023. The proposed salary guide includes only hourly wages and does not include other benefits.
